Campus Tour Planner is a free iPhone app built by a student to help families plan college visits. It is published by his parent, Wen-Yaw Hsieh. No account is needed. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the colleges and universities shown.
Saved visit times help you plan. They are not reservations. Register and confirm each visit on the school's official website.
How do I remove a saved trip?
In the iPhone app, open Saved, swipe left on the trip, tap the trash icon, then confirm Delete trip. To remove all locally saved planning information and your current draft, tap the info button (ⓘ) on the Plan map, tap Clear device data, then confirm. These actions cannot cancel a registration made with a school.
Where are my trips stored?
They are saved on the device where you made them. The app has no sign-in and does not sync trips to the cloud. Deleting the app may permanently remove them. We cannot recover them for you.
How do directions work?
The iPhone app can measure road travel between selected campuses with Apple directions. If that measurement is unavailable, driving times are labeled as estimates. Use Open trip in Maps to review a route in Apple Maps or Google Maps; confirm travel and arrival times before registering. Choose Whole trip to see campuses in your visit order or To a school for directions from where you are now.
A tour or route will not load
Check your connection and try again. Verify visit availability on the school's official site. Virtual tours open inside the app in a temporary web view. If one does not load, use Open in browser at the bottom of the tour screen or visit the school's official virtual-tour page. If a tour tries to open a different website, the app may offer to open that link in your browser. Some older tour links may not open inside the app.
Visit information looks wrong
Visit times come from each school's public website and can change. Each school page shows when its information was last checked. Always confirm on the school's site. To report an error, email us with the school name, the date, and what looks wrong.
Is Campus Tour Planner free?
Yes. There are no ads from us, no in-app purchases, and no account. The app is designed for iPhone.
